Patsy Heffner was appointed by the Governor in December 1999 and was elected in 2000. Her combined 30 years in the private sector in business administration, public relations and banking as well as her three years as Chief Deputy in the Osceola County Clerks office were instrumental in providing the background and leadership that has earned the Osceola County Tax Collectors office a reputation of being one of the most efficient and friendly government offices in Osceola County.
A lifelong resident of Osceola County, Patsy graduated from Osceola High School and attended Florida State University. She has been an active community leader throughout her career, serving as a past or current member of the following organizations:
Patsy and her husband, Gary, are the parents of two daughters and have five grandchildren.
