Bellalago Educational Facilities Benefit District

Overview

The Bellalago Educational Facilities Benefit District (Benefit District) was established by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners (County) pursuant to Chapters 125 and 1013, Florida Statutes, under Ordinance No. 03-15 on September 15, 2003. The County also entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the School District of Osceola County (School District) to provide for the creation, boundaries, and procedures of the Benefit District. The purpose of the Benefit District is to provide for the timely construction and maintenance of Bellalago Charter Academy. The Benefit District is an alternative mechanism that allows for the sharing of educational facilities construction and maintenance costs that are necessary to accomodate new growth and development.
