Formosa Gardens DRI

The original Development Order for the Formosa Gardens Center DRI was approved by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners on July 31, 1989. The Development Order has been amended several times. The DRI approval consists of 1,230 hotel rooms, 401,050 SF of commercial use, 20, 000 SF of office use, 961 residential units including up to 120 timeshare units, a 5,000 SF clubhouse, and 199.5 acres for common areas. The DRI had a buildout date of July 25, 2010. The county approved the DRI rescission Resolution 21-100R and the PD amendment on June 21, 2021.
