Corrections Department Public Information & Tours
Departmental Facility Tour Request
Osceola County Corrections Department provides educational tours for:
- Criminal justice agencies;
- College and university classes;
- Law enforcement and corrections academies, and;
- Professional and community organizations
Tour participants must undergo a background check before being allowed to enter the facility. Individuals with felonies on their record within the last 20 years are ineligible. At the discretion of the Security Captain, certain misdemeanors will also result in ineligibility. Participants must adhere to a strict dress code, including:
- No spandex or tight fitting clothes;
- No tank tops;
- No revealing clothing;
- No torn clothing;
- No open-toe shoes;
- Shorts or skirts must not be more than 3” above knees; and
- No backpacks or purses.
Participants will need a valid photo ID. Only an ID and car keys are permitted inside the facility. Participants are encouraged to leave any other belongings inside their vehicle. Subject to availability, a limited number of lockers are available in the lobby.
Tours are scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and dependent on staffing availability.

Inmate Media Interview Request Form
If you are a member of the media and you are interested in obtaining an interview with an inmate of the Osceola County Correctional Facility, you will first need to submit a Media Interview Consent Form.

All public information or records requests should be directed to the appropriate staff member as indicated below. Routine records requests will only be processed during normal business hours. We will notify you of any applicable charges after we have reviewed your request.
