Bite Reports

We will take a report and forward it to the Health Department. If the animal is current on its rabies vaccination, then it is up to the Health Department to decide if quarantine is necessary. If it is not up to date on its Rabies vaccination, then the animal must be quarantined for 10 days. Any quarantined animals release is mandated by the Health Department.

The cost of quarantine is as follows:

  • $25 impoundment fee
  • $6 per day boarding
  • $10 for the Rabies vaccination if not current
  • $6-12 for the county license
We only accept cash or local checks.
