Once all reviewing departments have approved the application for permit and the permit fee is paid, the permit may be issued. The permit must be paid for and issued within 6 months of the date the permit was submitted or it will become void.
At issuance, a permit Inspection Record is given to the applicant to post on the job site for the Building Inspector to sign off each approved inspection. A copy of all plans and specs that were submitted will also be returned to applicant for posting on the job site so that the inspector can compare approved plans to the work that is completed.
You must receive an approved inspection within 6 months of the date permit was issued or permit will become void.
