Basic Wind Speed for Osceola County is as follows:
- 110mph 3-second gust or 90mph fast mile for central and western parts of the county.
- 120mph 3-second gust or 100mph fast mile for the eastern part of the county.
This information is provided as per Figure 1609 and Section 1609.6.2 of the 2004 Florida Building Code.
