Permits Intake

Once you have completed your permit application package, our permit professionals will review the documents for sufficiency and assign a permit number. Simple permits examples: residential fence, mechanical change-out, re-roof may be issued at that time; other structural permits require plan review by various departments.

It is up to the permit technician to make sure the application form is complete and accurately reflects the work to be permitted. Asking questions of the applicant is part of the normal permitting process. If your permit application is accepted for plan review, you will be given a permit number for tracking. When you call or make inquiries online, please refer to the permit number you were given.
