Inmates may be eligible for visits seventy-two (72) hours after arrival. Visiting times are based upon the inmate’s assigned housing location. Visitation periods are posted in the front lobby of the facility and are limited to one hour each period.
Scheduling a Visit
In an effort to make visitation more convenient, visitation is by scheduled appointment only. The following is a list of guidelines we have adopted in an effort to make this work efficiently and allow as many visitors as possible.
Appointments for visitation must be scheduled, at the minimum, one day prior to the visit.
Visitors may schedule appointments by calling 407-742-4400, during hours of visitation. Appointments can also be made prior to, or after, your visit by speaking with the visitation clerk at the facility.
Out-of-state visitors may schedule visitation up to thirty (30) days in advance.
Important Visitation Information
In order to receive the maximum time allowed per visit, visitors must sign in fifteen (15) minutes prior to their visitation session. Late arrivals will not be allowed to visit.

Identification cards cannot be expired.
All property, including keys, cigarettes, pens or pencils, lighters, hats, and cell phones will be secured in a locker provided by the facility prior to the visit.
Multiple visits are permitted for the same inmate when scheduled. During multiple visits, visitors enter one at a time for 30 minute intervals.
Visitors must be dressed according to dress code policy. Failure to adhere to the dress code policy will result in a cancelled visit.
Only one (1) adult and one (1) child visitor will be allowed to enter the visitation area for any one (1) inmate. If more than one (1) adult signs in to visit the same inmate, only one (1) will be allowed into the visitation area. The visitors will be switched by the front lobby visitation officer at 30 minute intervals.
Any destruction or defacing of County property by inmates or visitors is subject to temporary or permanent suspension of visiting privileges. Destruction of County property is a chargeable offense.
Inmates and visitors will remain seated in an assigned booth during visits.
Visitors are not allowed to bring cameras, radios or tape recorders into the Jail.
All visitors are subject to be searched. Those who refuse to be searched will be denied access to the facility.
The introduction or attempt to introduce into or upon facility grounds weapons, drugs, medication, narcotics, alcoholic beverages or any other unauthorized items is a violation of Florida Law, as stated in Florida Statute 951.22.
Persons appearing to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages, narcotics or other drugs, or exhibiting irrational behavior, will not be allowed to visit.
Disturbances or emotional disruptive behavior exhibited at any time will result in the cancelation of the visit.
Any violation of visiting rules may result in temporary or permanent suspension of visitation privileges.
A visit may be terminated at any time by any officer when a rule violation warrants such action.
No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to visit unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The visitor under 18 must be the brother/sister, granddaughter/grandson, or daughter/son of the incarcerated inmate.
Minors must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times and cannot be left in the lobby or in front of the building.
