The Administrative Support Division encompasses a wide variety of units responsible for the every day function of services required throughout the facility.
Financial Services is comprised of a team of individuals that provide customer service, purchasing, payroll and financial support to all of the Corrections’ Departments.
The Osceola County Corrections Department Medical Division provides medical, psychiatric and dental care to the inmates.
The Internal Affairs Unit investigates all complaints regarding misconduct of staff and violation of departmental rules and regulations.
Public Safety Security Division (PSSD) provides security support at the downtown county complex 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. Services are also provided at the Osceola County Government Center, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, and Health Department, Poinciana Tax Collectors Office, Osceola County Libraries and the front desk of Osceola County Jail on weekdays, except holidays, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Osceola County Corrections Department houses pre- and post-sentenced adult inmates as well as pre- and post-sentenced juvenile inmates being tried as adults. Custody classifications range from minimum to maximum-security and high risk.
The Training and Professional Standards Division encompasses principle-based objective training that is committed to providing continuous learning opportunities, and molding an open, professional organization.
