Drug Prevention Education Classes (D.O.P.E.)
Classes provide 12 hours (6 weeks) of substance abuse education for illegal drug offenders. Classes offer inmates a forum to discuss the effects of drugs on their own lives. In addition, class experience promotes intensive group interaction which allows the inmate to determine and examine ways their illegal drug use affects others. Classes are available to both male and female inmates.
