Osceola County, Florida - Osceola County Fire Rescue, in conjunction with Orange County Fire Rescue, assisted the Division of Forestry in extinguishing a five-acre brush fire today near Ron Road in Narcoossee. Several pole barns were lost in the fire, however, no other structures were damaged and there were no injuries. The State Fire Marshal is en route to determine the cause of the fire.
Osceola County Fire Rescue officials would like to remind the public to be aware of the extremely dry conditions due to the recent cold weather and to keep in mind that there is currently a burn ban in effect for all of unincorporated Osceola County.
