The Osceola County Department of Human Services has completed a "Draft Substantial Amendment" to the current HUD approved Consolidated Plan and 2010 Action Plan describing the proposed Neighborhood Stabilization Program #3 (NSP3) outlining proposed uses of Osceola County's Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 allocation. Total anticipated allocation authorized under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 is $3,239,646 and it is anticipated that 24 housing units will be served. The Draft Plan includes the use of Eligible Use B: Purchase and Rehabilitation of homes and residential properties that have been abandoned or foreclosed. The Plan will still require approval by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development before it can be implemented. All proposed activities will benefit low, moderate, and middle income persons as defined in Title III of Division B of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act, 2008.
The Plan will be available for public inspection and comment between January 17 and February 1, 2011 until close of business at the following location:
