Artistic Conceptualization

In order to enhance the economic opportunities of East 192, the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners created the East 192 Enhancement Advisory Committee in September 2008 with Resolution 08-033R.

This committee is tasked with assisting the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners and/or the County Manager with identifying area concerns and contributions for the implementation of the most appropriate enhancement plan for the East US 192 area, from Michigan Avenue to Canal C31 in Kissimmee.

At the September 14, 2009 workshop, Committee Chairman Bob Whidden made a PowerPoint presentation to the Board on ways to enhance the economic development of east US 192 as the eastern gateway to Osceola County. The presentation also included ideas for improvements to Osceola Heritage Park and the Turnpike entrance across from Shady Lane as part of a potential plan.
