Osceola County Sheriff's deputies arrested 2 suspects for their involvement in two grow house operations. The investigation began on November 2 when deputies received information about a possible grow house at 2356 Town and Country Drive in Kissimmee. Representatives with the local utility company met with deputies and confirmed theft of utilities at the residence. While on scene, deputies smelled what appeared to be marijuana and the homeowner, Victor Salgado, was contacted. Salgado gave deputies permission to search the residence and deputies found 47 cannabis plants, approximately 3-4 feet in height, in a closed room near the kitchen. Deputies interviewed Salgado who cooperated with the investigation. Salgado took deputies to his primary residence at 2336 Pine Tree Court in Kissimmee where deputies found 10 marijuana plants, 4-5 feet tall in a back bedroom. On November 3, Salgado was arrested and charged with Cultivation of Cannabis and Theft of Utilities. His wife Felicitas Salgado was charged with Producing Marijuana. They were booked into the Osceola County Jail.
