Approximately $750,000 Worth of Jewelry Stolen from Vehicle

Osceola County -- At approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 14, 2005, Sheriff's deputies responded to a call from a jewelry dealer stating his merchandise had been stolen from his car at a gas station. According to the victim, Michel Engelberg, at around 7:00 p.m. stopped at the Pilot Gas Station located at 3051 East State Road 60 to get fuel. He parked at the pump and went inside to pre-pay for the fuel. Upon returning to his vehicle he saw a man near his car. The man had broken his window, stolen a briefcase containing approximately $750,000 worth of jewelry and other items and fled the scene in a white sport utility vehicle. Half an hour later, an abandoned white Chevrolet Trailblazer was located at milemarker 190 on the Florida Turnpike southbound. The vehicle matched the description of the get away car.

At this time, Sheriff's detectives are looking for the following:

--2004/05 newer model, white Nissan Ultima with tinted windows
--2004/05 newer model, gray Toyota Camry with tinted

Two suspects:
Hispanic, clean cut, balding, male, approximately 5'10” last seen wearing black pants, white polo shirt
Hispanic male, clean cut, black hair last seen wearing a light colored polo shirt and jeans
