Mission Statement
Osceola County Anti-Litter / Earth Day Event and Celebration

In celebration of Earth Day, Osceola County is hosting various anti-litter and environmentally-themed events for Saturday, April 19, 2008 under the Osceola Board of County Commissioners' "Keep Osceola Beautiful" anti-litter initiative.

And we need your help!

We're looking for volunteer groups to help keep Osceola beautiful by either cleaning up a road, a lake, your neighborhood, place of work or school, or join us in landscpaing. And if you know of any groups and/or have employees in your organization who are looking for an opportunity to volunteer for half a day in their community, please pass along this information to them.

ALL VOLUNTEERS...PLEASE FILL OUT A REGISTRATION FORM AS WELL AS A RELEASE, THE SAFETY RULES AND AN EMERGENCY CONTACT LIST (LOCATED UNDER "VOLUNTEER FORMS" IN THE MENU AT LEFT).  THANK YOU.

Our Earth Day / Anti-Litter event will kick-off at 8 a.m. with various concurrent clean-up and landscaping efforts throughout Osceola County!

So come out for a day of clean-up and education fun that will get you involved and help you make a difference in our community.

Now in its fourth year, "Keep Osceola Beautiful" is the Osceola Board of County Commissioners’ anti-litter campaign. Utilizing the talents and resources of many County departments and government and community partners, “Keep Osceola Beautiful” is a way we can all pitch in to improve our community!
