Charter Review Advisory Commission Applications Now Being Accepted

Applications from citizens willing to serve on the 2015 Charter Review Advisory Commission are now being accepted. This Sunshine body convenes every four years, for a period of approximately 18 months. The member’s term ends on the first Wednesday, after the first Monday, in November 2016.

Any recommendations for changes to Osceola County Home Rule Charter must be presented to the County Commission by the first Tuesday, in June 2016. The past practice followed by this body has been to meet on a monthly basis for approximately two hours per meeting with at least two public hearings.
