Did you know?

• In January 2010 HSN identified 1,800 homeless men and women in Osceola County.
• Osceola County Public Schools anticipates serving more than 1,200 homeless children this school year - children that were NOT included in the January 2010 count.
• There are more than 250 homeless veterans in Osceola County.

Here's how you can help:

• Purchase or collect items on the Donations Needed list.
• Volunteer for the event - we need 200 volunteers. Register at www.hsncfl.org.
• Donate to support event expenses, including IDs, food, and clothing.

PHC is the Homeless Services Network's (HSN) outreach to the homeless in Osceola County. It is a one day event offering more than 45 services that are critically needed by homeless persons in one convenient location.

Services include showers, meals, shelter, medical care, employment/training opportunities, mental health and substance abuse services, ID cards and driver's licenses, birth certificates, Social Security replacement cards, legal services, VA benefits, rent and utility assistance and housing.

HSN is partnering with the Osceola Board of County Commissioners and the Osceola County Veteran's Council to serve approximately 600 homeless men, women and children on September 17, 2010.

They need your support!

All the agencies participating in Project Homeless Connect are donating their services. However, HSN needs the support of the local community to cover the costs of IDs, food, clothing and other event expenses.
