New animals needing forever homes continue to arrive at the Osceola County Animal Shelter. If you see a pet that you are interested in, please come visit them as soon as possible. The Shelter cannot hold pets and the Pets of the Week may or may not be available when you arrive.

Cat of the Week: Tom

Cat #2012-391 - "Tom" is a 2-year old, male, black and white Domestic Shorthair cat. He was named "Tom" by Animal Shelter staff because he has a big black moustache, just like actor Tom Selleck. "Tom" is a stray, so not much is known about him, but he is definitely an indoor cat, he is very loving and affectionate and loves to be held and petted. If you are interested in this Tom Selleck look-alike, please come to the Shelter and inquire about him. His ID number is Cat ID #2012-391.

Dog of the Week: Athena

Dog #2012-228 - "Athena" is a female, 2-year old brindle cur. She has already been spayed, which means she could go home with you today! She is a very obedient dog and she gets along well with other dogs and children. As an added bonus, Athena even has a microchip, so you could find her if she ever got lost. If you are interested in "Athena," please come to the Shelter and visit with her. Her ID number is Dog #2012-228.

If you are interested in adopting any of the animals currently available at the Shelter, please come in and visit as soon as you can. Please, please keep in mind, however, that the animals' stay at the Shelter is EXTREMELY limited, and they may or may not be available when you arrive.
