Yes! Dogs are welcome in most of our parks provided that they are kept on a leash at all times.

Yes. On January 15, 2009 the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners opened its first dog park, located at Partin Triangle Park.

5.01) Why is the park I am looking for not listed in the Osceola County Parks Division Listing?
- The park you are looking for may be one of the parks managed by the surrounding municipalities (cities). There are several cities located inside Osceola County including the City of Kissimmee and the City of St. Cloud. These cities each have their own departments and parks.

5.02) When are the parks, athletic facilities, and boat ramps open?
The following parks are open from dawn to dusk:
- Royal Palm
- Waters Edge
- Marydia Park
- Tropical Park
- Archie Gordon walking path
The following parks are open from dawn until 10 pm:
- Oren Brown Park
- BVL Park
- Archie Gordon Park
Boat Ramps are open 24 hours a day.

6.01) Are there horse trails in any of the Osceola County Parks, and does the Parks Department have horses for rent for trail riding?
- Yes! There are horse trails at Lake Lizzie and Ralph V. Chisholm Park. The county does not rent horses at this time.
7.00 - Parties, Picnics, and Events

7.01) Can I reserve the Pavilions at the County parks?
Yes! You can reserve these pavilions for a small fee. If no reservations exist pavilions may be utilized on a first come first served basis. For more information call the Parks Department at 407-742-7800.

7.02) Our group is planning a festive event and picnic, what are the guidelines we need to know to schedule our event in an Osceola County Park?
There are several requirements, including insurance requirements that will need to be met in order to hold an event in an Osceola County Park. Contact the Parks Department 407-742-7800 or send a request letter to:

8.00 - Sports Facilities

8.01) How do I rent a facility or field for my league or event?
There are several requirements that need to be met, including insurance requirements to rent our sports fields and facilities. Please call (407) 742-8223 or email us at wavery@visitkissimmee.com.

8.02) Why was my field or facility request denied?
- Our sports fields and facilities are in great demand. Osceola County leagues and users get first preference. We also have agreements with several local leagues that give priority over new requests.

8.03) What are the fees to rent the fields and facilities?
Every field is different, for more information call (407) 742-8223. Groups located in Osceola County will receive a discounted rate.
