Goals
- Implement the Parks Division Plan Update
- Implement a Parks Division Impact Fee to provide funding for Park infrastructure as the County grows.
- Update the Recreation Element for the County Comprehensive Plan.
- Create increased public awareness, enhanced services, and customer friendly usage regarding our parks, sports, and improved information access.
- To provide citizens with a safe and pleasant environment in which to work, vacation, and play.
- Attract top quality sporting events to each of our facilities to enhance economic impact and visibility.
- Continue our strong relationship with our National Baseball Leage Champions, the Houston Astros.
