Master Plan

Osceola County is one of the fastest growing counties in Central Florida. The County has experienced a 31% increase in population since the year 2000, and is expected to double its population over the next 20 years to over 450,000 residents. This is equivalent to the population of major metropolitan areas such as Kansas City, Missouri, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Sacramento, California.

Osceola County Commissioners recognize the significant role that parks, trails, roadways, environmental lands and other public open spaces play in the livability of a community, and want to make sure that the County sustains the quality of life that has attracted so many residents and visitors to live, work and play in Osceola County.
