The local jurisdiction, which in our case is the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners BOCC, has the responsibility of issuing a final development order for a DRI and a final development agreement for a DCI after conducting a public hearing. The BOCC also has the responsibility of enforcing the conditions of the development order/agreement and to that end must review all subsequent actions of the DRI or DCI for conformance with the development order/ agreement. Citizens wishing to obtain information on the status of a specific DRI can do so by reviewing the annual or biennial report which must be submitted to Osceola County with each DRI project.
