Poinciana Incorporation Feasibility Results

The University of Central Florida, Institute of Government (IOG) has completed it’s Poinciana Incorporation Feasibility Study (August 26, 2009). This study was contracted by the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV). Osceola County is NOT a party to the study, but encourages all residents to review the findings of the study and participate in all community input opportunities. The final feasibility report produced by the UCF team is now available on the project's website, www.poincianafuture.org .

The UCF Team will be presenting their study and will be available to answer questions at Town Hall Meetings:

• Tuesday, September 22, 2009 - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the APV Community Center
• Tuesday, September 29, 2009 - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the APV Community Center (This is a Spanish-language meeting only)
• Tuesday, October 27, 2009 - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Liberty High School. The legislative delegations from Polk and Osceola County will be convening a joint meeting to hear citizen feedback on the incorporation proposal.
