Avon Park Joint Land Use Study Community Meeting

You are invited to attend a Community Meeting, Wednesday, March 30th, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Kenansville Community Center to discuss the Avon Park Air Force Range ("The Range") Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) and its recommendations. Along with Osceola County Staff, representatives from the Range and the Central Florida Regional Council will be present to address questions.

Boggy Creek Rural Enclave

Osceola County Rural Enclave #2 is located along Boggy Creek Road, north of East lake Tohopekaliga, east of Rural Enclave #1 and south of the Orange County Line. Ordinance 2010-02 was enacted on February 1, 2010 that adopted CPA09-0002 changing the future land use designation on approximately 110 acres of Rural Enclave #2 from Rural Enclave to Mixed Use. Upon the approval of this newly created Mixed Use area, Mixed Use District #10 was created. The County's Community Development Department is holding a series of neighborhood meetings for residents within and near Rural Enclave #2 to discuss proactive planning measures for the community.
