Avon Park Air Force Range Joint Land Use Study
The Avon Park Air Force Range ("The Range") Joint Land Use Study (JLUS), which was funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, and prepared by the Central Florida Regional Planning Council, contains several recommendations intended to guide compatibility between the Range and adjacent local governments. Presently, Osceola County is evaluating the status of the JLUS, the relevance of JLUS recommendations to Osceola County, and the potential impact of following any of the JLUS recommendations.
