Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearings will be held by the Osceola County Planning Commission beginning at the time identified below, or as soon thereafter as practical, on the date(s) listed below and by the Board of County Commissioners beginning at the time identified below, or as soon thereafter as practical, on the date (s) listed below Meetings are held in the Osceola County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 4th Floor, 1 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee, Florida, to consider the following.

Commission District: 5 Request: Approval of a Conditional Use to allow for a Community Residential Home B as an assisted living facility for up to fourteen (14) residents with alternative parking arrangements located on approximately 23 acres within an Agricultural Development and Conservation (AC) zoning district. The subject property is generally located on the south side of Friars Cove Road, west of the Florida Turnpike and east of Lake Tohopekaliga. The alternative parking arrangements will not be heard by the Board of County Commissioners, as it falls under the authority of the Planning Commission only.
2. CU11-00015: GENON POWER PLANT, GENON FLORIDA (APPLICANT AND OWNER) 02/02/2012 - 6:00 P.M. 02/20/2012 - 5:30 P.M.
Commission District: 5 Request: Approval to amend previously approved Conditional Use CU00-00017 consisting of approximately 432 acres, to allow the GenOn power plant to operate at peak times, 24 hours a day. The subject property is generally located west of Holopaw Road, and approximately one mile south of East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (U.S. 192).
3. PD11-00016: REICH PROPERTIES, INC., (APPLICANT) JOHN C. AND SHAYNA THOMAS REICH, ASDRUBAL AND RUTH RUIZ, JOSE M. ALGAIDA AND IVETTE M. ROSADO (OWNERS) 02/02/2012 - 6:00 P.M. 02/20/2012 - 5:30 P.M.
Commission District: 4 Request: Approval to amend the zoning map by changing approximately 2 acres from Industrial Business (IB) and Industrial General Business (IG) Zoning Districts to Planned Industrial Development (PD) Zoning District to allow for an industrial development with mixed uses through established development standards. The subject property is generally located on the west side of Michigan Avenue, north of Garden Street and southwest of Mill Run Boulevard.
4. LV11-00012: NCD AUTOMOTIVE SPECIALIST LLC, CHARLES DEPARI (APPLICANT) AND ECA INVESTMENTS LLC (OWNER) 02/02/2012 - 6:00 P.M. N/A Final Action with Planning Commission
Commission District: 1 Request: Approval for alternative parking arrangements for a vehicle dealership display area and access drive on approximately 7 acres within an Industrial General (IG) Zoning District. The subject property is generally located on the west side of Dolores Drive, north of S. Orange Blossom Trail and south of Old Tampa Highway. This item will not be heard by the Board of County Commissioners, as it falls under the authority of the Planning Commission only.
5. PS11-00005: NOVA PARK, JJL PROPERTIES, LLC (APPLICANT) NOVA PARK, LLC (OWNER) 02/02/2012 - 6:00 P.M. N/A Final Action with Planning Commission
Commission District: 5 Request: Approval of preliminary subdivision plan for approximately 100 residential lots and 7 tracts of approximately 29 acres of land located within a Planned Development (PD) Zoning District. The subject property is located along the north side of Jack Brack Road, east of Underwood Avenue. This item will not be heard by the Board of County Commissioners, as it falls under the authority of the Planning Commission only.
