Osceola County, Florida - Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Osceola County Planning Commission beginning at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as practical, on January 5, 2012 and by the Board of County Commissioners beginning at 1:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as practical, on January 9, 2012 in the Osceola County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 4th Floor, 1 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee, Florida, to consider the following.

  1. DRI11-0003: STONEYBROOK SOUTH DRI NOPC - LENNAR HOMES, LLC (APPLICANT) AND JULIE KENDIG-SCHRADER, ESQUIRE, GREENBERG TRAURIG, PA (AGENT) Commission District: 1 Request: Approval of a Notice of Proposed Change (NOPC) as a Non-Substantial Deviation to a previously approved Development of Regional Impact (DRI) for Stoneybrook South to provide for clarification regarding the timing of several obligations, updates to the phasing, buildout dates, and developer's name, clerical updates, and minor modifications to Map H consistent with the proposed changes. The property is generally located west of Masters Boulevard, east of the Polk County line, north and south of Tri County Road, and west of Interstate 4.
  2. PD11-00014: OSCEOLA CORPORATE CENTER PD - DEERFIELD LAND CORPORATION (APPLICANT AND OWNER) AND IVEY PLANNING GROUP, LLC (AGENT) Commission District: 1, 2 & 4 Request: Amend the previously approved Osceola Corporate Center Planned Development (PD07-00025) and all previously approved Planned Developments for Osceola Corporate Center to change the uses on Parcels 11, 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23 to accommodate Transit Oriented Development (TOD) uses and provide development standards for the TOD primary and secondary zones. The property is generally located south of the Orange County line, east of North Thacker Avenue, west of the CSX Railroad tracks, and north of Ravenwood Circle.
  3. ZMA11-0017: MARK STARKEY (APPLICANT), EDWARD W. STARKEY TRUST NO II (OWNER) Commission District: 4 Request: Approval of a Zoning Map Amendment by changing approximately one (1) acre of land from Commercial Tourist (CT) to Commercial General Business (CG). The subject property is generally located at on the north side of E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, east of Simpson Road and west of the Florida Turnpike.
  4. CU11-00018: WAWA CONVENIENCE STORE - RYAN STAHL, OLD VINELAND INVESTORS, LLC (APPLICANT) ABNC TRUST C/O CALOIRARO OZZIE SUCC TR (OWNER) Commission District: 1 Request: Approval of a Conditional Use to allow for the construction of a 5,600 square foot convenience store on approximately five (5) acres within a Commercial Restricted Business (CR) zoning district. The subject property is generally located north of W. Vine Street, east of Old Vineland Road and south of Tangelo Circle.
  5. LV11-00011: OLD VINELAND INVESTORS, LLC (APPLICANT) AND ABNC TRUST (OWNER) Commission District: 1 Request: A variance from the Long Form Subdivision requirements of the Land Development Code, Chapter 8 (Subdivision Regulations), Section 8.2 A. The subject property is generally located north of Hwy 192, east of Old Vineland Road, and west of Shingle Creek. This item will not be heard by the Board of County Commissioners, as it falls under the authority of the Planning Commission only.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Osceola County Planning Commission beginning at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as practical, on January 5, 2012 and by the Board of County Commissioners beginning at 1:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as practical, on February 6, 2012 in the Osceola County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 4th Floor, 1 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee, Florida, to consider the following.

  1. PD11-00015: CARSON STREET ESTATES PD - FRANK CAWTHON JR (APPLICANT) AND LAKE JACKSON RIDGE AT MASSCOTTE, LLC (OWNER) Commission District: 5 Request: Approval to change the zoning of approximately 14.5 acres from Estate Development (E-1) to Planned Development (PD) to allow a Planned Residential Development. The subject property is generally located on the south side of Carson Street, east of Underwood Avenue.

Any person wishing to appeal any decision made by the Planning Commission or Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing will need a record of the proceeding, and for such purposes, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Written comments may be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Department at the above address.
