The Survey Section is responsible for providing professional land surveying services to the Board of County Commissioners and the other County Departments. These services include boundary, topographic, as-built surveys, as well as right-of-way and construction layouts. This Section's responsibilities also include preparation of the legal descriptions for right-of-way and easement acquisitions for the County. Additionally, the Section is responsible for the subdivision plat review, a process that ensures the plat conformity to State and Local Regulations.
The Survey Section administers the County's Vertical Control Network. A copy of the control network information book is available for purchase at a price of $25.00. It can be picked up at the Osceola County Administration Building on the 1st floor, Suite 1100.
The Survey Section can also provide to the public copies of right-of-way maps for $3.00 per sheet. The right-of-way map inventory is limited, so please call our office at (407) 343-2600 to verify if your road is in our inventory.
