The Agricultural/Marine Unit, supervised by a Sergeant, is responsible for investigating crimes at plant nurseries, citrus groves, vegetable farms, ranches; complaints of animal abuse/neglect, thefts of heavy equipment, and metal thefts. The unit is responsible for patrolling lakes and waterways in the county. The unit handles boating accidents and investigates boating-related crimes.
