The Bass Resource Recovery Site (formerly the Bass Road Landfill) is still OPEN!
Construction and Demolition (C&D) is NO longer accepted, but we are still accepting:
- Yard Waste
- Tires
- White Goods (washers, dryers, etc.)
- Recyclables (Residential Only)
- Household Chemicals (Residential Only)
Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday
7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Last loads accepted at 2:45 p.m.

ATTENTION HOME GARDENERS
The Bass Road Site offers free gardening soil to our residents. The soil is created from the screening process from our yard waste grinding operation, and makes an excellent soil for gardening. Please call us prior to visiting to ensure availability. Be sure to bring a shovel and containers.
The soil is limited to ONE pickup truck load per family.
This service is not available to businesses.
