Household Garbage Collection
Residents in the unincorporated areas of Osceola County receive collection service twice a week (either Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday.) Please contact the service provider in your area for specific days of collection.
If you are not sure who services your areas, please contact the Service Coordinator at the County Solid Waste Office at 407-742-7750.
Guidelines for household garbage collection are as follows:
- Please place garbage curbside (within 3 feet of the curb) by 6:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
- Garbage must be placed in containers no larger than 45 gallons with two handles and a closed tight lid (detachable) so as to prevent water or animals from getting into them.
- Garbage containers must not weigh more than 50 lbs when full.
