Osceola County is holding an Open House in regards to the new preliminary flood hazard maps.

  • The new maps mark the first time in 10 years that a comprehensive re-examination has been conducted.
  • The maps are only preliminary; this open house gives residents the chance to review the changes.

Why attend the open house?

  1. Identify your current flood zone and if any change has occurred.
  2. If a change has occurred you will visit a station to submit any appeals or protests to the change.
  3. You will receive information on flood insurance.
