Flood Facts

Is my home in a Special Flood Hazard Area SFHA?

The Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA has identified areas of the County as being within the 100-year floodplain. These areas are shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Maps FIRM. Areas identified as the 100-year floodplain have a one percent chance of flooding in a given year. For additional information regarding SFHA please visit the Floodsmart.gov website.
