1.00 - General Questions

  • 1.01) What do I need to submit a Disability Claim?

    You must have a DD-214, copies of service medical records, and current medical evidence of the disability that you're claiming. We can send for the information if you do not have it.

  • 1.02) How do I apply for VA Medical Health Care?

    You must bring your DD-214 to the nearest VA Medical Center to enroll. Please have you financial information available in order to complete the form. All benefits are based on the previous years income and non-reimbursed medical expanses.

  • 1.03) Where is the nearest VA Medical Center located?

    There are several clinics that support veterans living in the Central Florida area. Please call 407-599-1599 for the location nearest to you. Alternatively, you may visit the Orlando VA Medical Center website by clicking here.

  • 1.04) How do I submit a claim for a Service Connected Disability Re-Evaluation?

    Beginning July 1, 2010 you may come into our office. Be sure to bring with you current medical evidence and we will submit all of the necessary VA paperwork.

  • 1.05) How do I apply for a new DD-214?

    Please visit our office and we will fill out SF Form 180 to request a new one on your behalf.

  • 1.06) What are your hours of operation?

    Our normal hours of business for the Beaumont Complex location are listed below.

    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:

    • 8am - Noon
    • 1pm - 4pm

    We perform records maintenance daily from 4pm - 5pm.

    Our St. Cloud location accepts visits by appointment only between the hours of 8:30am and Noon on Wednesdays.
