Osceola News Minute - Fire Station 64 Hose Uncoupling Ceremony

Hose Uncoupling’ ceremony for the new home of Fire Station 64. A “Hose Uncoupling” is a fire service tradition similar to a ribbon cutting ceremony. Join Commissioner Arrington and Chief Sorenson as they celebrate with a Hose Uncoupling Ceremony which signifies the opening of a new firefighting facility. Station 64 is the first station to be built using a new 4-bay design that includes a community room. It is a template for all future stations in the county. Unlike the “temporary” station it replaces, it is designed to withstand severe weather events with wind speeds of up to 150 mph.
