About the Finance Office
Processes all payments for delivered goods and services for vendors conducting business with the BOCC.
Responsible for timekeeping and processing of the wages for all BOCC employees, including deductions for taxes, benefits and other garnishments. Also, processes payroll related financial reporting and payments mandated by Federal Regulations and State Statutes.
Responsible for the analyzing and processing recording all investment transactions according to the Osceola County Finance Code.
Responsible for recording the transactions, payment and continuous disclosure of the long-term debt according to Federal and State regulations.
Fixed Assets Section
Responsible for the safeguarding and tracking of all tangible property within Osceola County that meets the criteria of capital items.
Responsible for the receipt and recording of all revenue received by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners.
General Accounting Section
Responsible for recording and reporting the financial transactions of the Board of County Commissioners including the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and Annual Financial Report (AFR).
