CDBG Income Guidelines
Osceola County annually receives CDBG funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The primary objective of the CDBG Program, as set forth by Congress, is “the development of viable urban communities, by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income.” Federal regulations define persons who are low and moderate-income as households earning at or below 80 percent to the area median income, as determined by HUD, adjusted by household size.
El condado de Osceola recibe anualmente fondos CDBG del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano (HUD) de los Estados Unidos. El objetivo principal del Programa CDBG, según lo establecido por el Congreso, es "el desarrollo de comunidades urbanas viables, proporcionando viviendas dignas, un entorno de vida adecuado y ampliando las oportunidades económicas, principalmente para personas de ingresos bajos y moderados". Las regulaciones federales definen a las personas de ingresos bajos y moderados como hogares que ganan un 80% o menos del ingreso medio del área, según lo determinado por HUD, ajustado por el tamaño del hogar.
