Kissimmee St. Cloud Connector Trail Project
Project Details
Osceola County is currently building a 1.5-mile long recreational trail that will connect Kissimmee and St. Cloud. This federally funded Project will begin at the existing path on the north side of Neptune Road at Partin Triangle Park, proceed east along the south side of the C-31 Canal, and connect to the Fortune Simpson Trail that is currently in construction along Lakeshore Boulevard. The design will include an 8-foot wide (at minimum) shared use path, a short pedestrian bridge, a signalized intersection, pedestrian signals, signing and pavement markings, lighting and a crosswalk. The path beneath the US 192 Bridge will be located on the berm, will maintain an 8-foot vertical clearance and will be lighted. All pedestrian facilities will be fully compliant with the American with Disabilities Act. For information on construction alerts, please visit www.osceola.org/go/trafficalerts.
