Sinclair Road Extension Project

Project Details

Osceola County has been working with the Reunion development to extend Sinclair Road approximately 1.5 miles, from Tradition Boulevard to Bella Citta Boulevard. This project began in September 2021 with the launch of a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) study. The PD&E study has evaluated various alternative improvements and their impacts to the physical, natural, social, and cultural environments. The resulting proposed Preferred Alternative (the Blue Alignment) is a 4-lane divided roadway (with 11-foot lanes), a 22-foot raised median, 4-foot bicycle lanes in each direction, curb, and gutter, and 5-foot sidewalks on each side of the roadway. The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners approved the proposed Preferred Alternative on February 20, 2023. The PD&E study was completed in November 2023, and is not currently funded for right-of-way acquisition or construction. If additional right-of-way acquisition is needed to build the road, it will begin when the design is about 60% complete. Please check this website frequently for updates.
