Neptune Road Improvements Public Meeting

Osceola County invites you to a public information meeting regarding the Neptune Road Improvements Project on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The purpose of the project is to address capacity and safety needs along Neptune Road from Partin Settlement Road to US 192.

This project is in the design phase and is consistent with the recommendations resulting from the Neptune Road Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study.  This public meeting is being held to present the proposed improvements to the community and receive input. The County is offering three ways to participate in the meeting. All participants will receive the same information regardless of which option they choose.

  • In-Person Option: Interested persons may attend an in-person open house at the St. Cloud Meeting Room at Osceola Heritage Park located at 1875 Silver Spur Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34744. Attendees will have an opportunity to come anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and provide comments. The County requests advance registration for this option by contacting the Project Manager, Daniel Kelly, using the contact information below, to ensure all attendees are accommodated safely and according to social distancing guidelines. Attendees will be required to wear masks and follow all safety protocols. Those who are not feeling well or are running a fever may not attend the in-person meeting.
  • Virtual Meeting (Online) Option: The second option is to participate in a Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. The VPM will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will include the same presentation offered at the in-person location. Attendees in the virtual meeting will have an opportunity to download project displays and provide comments or ask questions. Advance registration is required for this option by going to: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/4245734877514277646 . Please note that Go-To Webinar does not support Internet Explorer. You will need to use Google Chrome (click https://www.google.com/chrome/ to download for free) or Microsoft Edge (click https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge to download for free) to register and participate in the virtual meeting.
  • Phone Option (listen-only): Persons may also call into the meeting by dialing (631) 992-3221 and entering the passcode 501-992-310 when prompted.  Persons choosing this option are encouraged to contact the Project Manager, Daniel Kelly, at 407-742-0533 or Daniel.Kelly@osceola.org after the meeting to submit comments or ask questions.

All meeting materials will be available on www.osceola.org/go/neptuneroad on Monday, April 12, 2021. A link to a recording of the virtual meeting will be posted after the meeting.

While comments are welcomed throughout the project, all comments received by Thursday, April 29, 2021, will become part of the record for this meeting. For more information, please contact the Project Manager, Daniel Kelly, at 407-742-0533 or Daniel.Kelly@osceola.org.
