Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that Public Hearings will be held by the Osceola County Planning Commission beginning at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as practical, on 05/01/2014, and by the Board of County Commissioners beginning at 5:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as practical, on 05/19/2014, in the Osceola County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 4th Floor, 1 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee, Florida, to consider the following.

1. CPA14-0001 A Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment to the Future Land Use Element: Request: Approval to transmit CPA14-0001, a Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment to the map series of the Future Land Use Element on approximately 272.83 acres of land from:

a.) Poinciana to Low Density Residential and Commercial (Trafalgar Village - Phases 1-4, Plat Book 16, Pages 168 - 170, Plat Book 17, Pages 143 - 148, Plat Book 19, Pages 90 - 100, Plat Book 22, Pages 109 - 110);
b.) Incorporated (City of Kissimmee) to Low Density Residential (Parcel #: 23-25-29-2590-0001-0040);
c.) Low Density Residential to Commercial (Portion of Parcel #: 04-26-31-0000-0190-0000);
d.) Low Density Residential to Tourist Commercial (Portions of property within the former Osceola Trace), and
e.) Low Density Residential to Commercial (Parcel # 35-26-30-4950-0001-0520).

2. Ordinance #2014-70 for CPA14-0002: An Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Osceola County, Florida, adopting a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment, CPA14-0002, Leslie E. and Martha J. Wooten (Applicant and Owner); to change the Future Land Use designation from Low Density Residential to Commercial on certain real property generally located west of Pleasant Hill Road (CR 531), north of South Poinciana Boulevard and south of Reaves Road, comprised of approximately 9.55 acres, more or less; amending the Future Land Use Map of the Future Land Use Element of the Osceola County Comprehensive Plan; providing for correction of scrivener's errors; providing for severability; providing for conflict; and providing for an effective date. 3. CPA13-0017: A Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Text and Map Amendment to the East of Lake Toho Element: Request: Approval to amend the text and maps 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the East of Lake Toho Conceptual Master Plan Element. The subject property is generally located south of Kissimmee Park Road., west of Lake Tohopekaliga Road., north of Friars Cove Road., and east of the Florida Turnpike, and comprised of approximately 677 acres, more or less. 4. PM14-00019: Northeast District Detailed Specific Area Plan (DSAP): Request approval and authorization for the Chairman/Vice Chairman to sign the Detailed Specific Area Plan Development Order for the Northeast District Conceptual Master Plan, addressing the requirements set forth for a DSAP, as described in Florida Statutes Section 163.3245(3)(b). The property is generally located south of the Orange County Line, north of Center Lake, east of Narcoossee Road, and west of Lake Preston, and comprising of approximately 5,000 acres more or less.
