Preparation before a storm
Where can I take my tree limbs?
- Kissimmee: Call the Bass Road Yard Waste Disposal site at 407-742-7780.
- St. Cloud: Please call the St. Cloud transfer station at 407-957-7289.
- St. Cloud/Holopaw: Please call the JED landfill at 407-891-3720 to determine if yard waste is accepted.
Please call the sites for hours of operation and disposal rates.
If I have big items out by the curb, should I leave them out for collection?
Please do not leave any large items at curbside as a tropical storm or hurricane approaches. Secure all large items in a shed or garage until the storm subsides. If you are wishing to dispose of large items prior to the storm, please contact your service provider, Waste Management, at (407) 605-3892 to ensure they can schedule collection. If not, please DO NOT leave items at the curb as they can become projectiles.
