Join Commissioner Peggy Choudhry This Sunday When The Three Kings Arrive To Deliver Good Cheer at Old Town

Osceola County, Florida – The Three Kings will make a brief stop in Osceola County on Sunday January 6, 2019 to help District 1 County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry and others distribute toys during a special event in Old Town starting at 10 a.m.
“Celebrating its 14th year, Three Kings Day in Osceola promises to be a day of joy and happiness for many kids and families,” Choudhry said. “Three Kings is a unique tradition and this is a wonderful event for our community and I am always happy to volunteer and participate.”
In addition to photo opportunities with the Three Kings, there will be free hotdogs, juice and a toy for children under 11. There will be raffle drawings for bicycles every 5 minutes throughout the event, which is scheduled to conclude at 2 p.m.
Three Kings Day, or “El Día de los Reyes”, is a holiday celebrated around the world by different cultures as a way to remember the three Wise Men as they brought their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the baby Jesus.
The Three Kings will not be alone; they will be joined by other elected officials, community leaders, sponsor representatives, Board Members of the Hispanic Business Council and organizers of the Festival.

Condado Osceola, Florida – De camino en su viaje hacia Belén los Tres Reyes harán una breve parada en el Condado Osceola el domingo para ayudar a la Comisionada del Condado por el Distrito 1 Peggy Choudhry junto a otros voluntarios a distribuir juguetes en una celebración en Old Town a las 10 a.m.
“Celebrando su 14vo año, el Día de los Tres Reyes en Osceola promete ser un día de alegría y felicidad para muchos niños y sus familias,” dijo Choudhry. “Los Tres Reyes es una tradición única y este es un maravilloso evento para nuestra comunidad y siempre estoy feliz de ser voluntaria y participar”.
Además de poder obtener una foto con los Tres Reyes, habrán “hot dogs”, jugos y juguetes para niños menores de 11 años. Se rifarán bicicletas cada 5 minutos durante el evento, el cual está programado para concluir a las 2 p.m.
El Día de los Reyes Magos, es un día festivo celebrado alrededor del mundo por diferentes culturas como una forma de recordar los tres sabios cuando trajeron sus regalos de oro, incienso y mirra al niño Jesús.
Los Tres Reyes no estarán solos, ellos estarán acompañados por otros oficiales electos, líderes comunitarios, patrocinadores y miembros del Concilio Hispano de Negocios y organizadores del Festival.
