Posted by Osceola County Office of Emergency Management on Friday, March 20, 2020

Osceola County, Florida -- Osceola County, the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud, along with other partners, held a press briefing on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 6 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center to provide an update on the County’s response to coronavirus.

Local leaders and emergency management continue to emphasize the need for social distancing to reduce the impact of the virus on the community. As previously announced starting Friday, March 20, Osceola County and the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud will close their facilities to the public, including libraries as a precaution to minimize health risks to our residents and employees. The community is encouraged to visit the websites for the municipalities for assistance, as most key services are available online or by phone and business can be conducted via email, phone or video chat.

The Osceola County Emergency Operations Center is located at 2586 Partin Settlement Road in Kissimmee (behind the Osceola County Government Center).

Directions:  From the Florida Turnpike, proceed south to Exit 244 to U.S. 192.  Turn left onto U.S. 192 heading east toward St. Cloud for one-quarter of a mile to Partin Settlement Road and turn left at the light.  Go about a quarter of a mile and turn right into the Sheriff’s Communication/Osceola EOC drive and park in the designated media parking spaces.
