Osceola County Announces the Availability of Funds for the State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP)

In accordance with Florida Statute 420.9075, Local Housing Assistance Plan

Purchase Assistance & Closing Costs Fiscal Year 2015/2016

$345,337.75 – Down-Payment / Closing Costs Assistance

Applications for Purchase Assistance will be available to eligible families beginning April 29, 2016 at 344 N. Beaumont Avenue, Kissimmee, FL 34741 at 8:00 a.m.

To receive an application for Purchase Assistance, applicants must provide the 12-hour Homebuyer Class Certificate from Osceola County Extension Services and a pre-approval letter from one of our SHIP approved lenders.  Applicants must be very-low, low, to moderate income to qualify.

The distribution of SHIP funds and applications will be received on a first come, first qualified basis for all eligible persons based upon the current Local Housing Assistance Plan.
