Osceola County to Provide Media Briefing on March 13 at 4 p.m. to Address Coronavirus

Osceola County, Florida -- Osceola County and the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud, along with health officials held a press briefing on March 13, 2020 at 4 p.m. to discuss the coronavirus.

As of March 13, Osceola County does not have any confirmed cases of the coronavirus, but local leaders and emergency management are placing an emphasis on preparedness and planning to reduce the impact of the virus. 


Officials will take questions during the briefing.

The press briefing will be held at the Osceola County Emergency Operations Center located at 2586 Partin Settlement Road in Kissimmee (behind the Osceola County Government Center).

Directions:  From the Florida Turnpike, proceed south to Exit 244 to U.S. 192.  Turn left onto U.S. 192 heading east toward St. Cloud for one-quarter of a mile to Partin Settlement Road and turn left at the light.  Go about a quarter of a mile and turn right into the Sheriff’s Communication/Osceola EOC drive and park in the designated media parking spaces.
