Sand Bags Available in Osceola County on Sunday

Osceola County, Florida - Osceola County residents may fill and make sand bags at several locations from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 5th.

All Osceola County Residents:

Residents are encouraged to bring their own shovel and someone to help fill the bags. There is a 25-bag limit and help is available for those unable to fill the bags themselves.

City of Kissimmee Residents:

Residents of the City of Kissimmee will be limited to 12 sand bags and must provide proof of residency within City limits. Residents will need to prepare their own bags; however, the city will have shovels available. Assistance will be available in the preparation and loading of bags for the elderly and disabled that request assistance at the site. The location is at the corner of Mabbette Street and Alaska Avenue, across from the YMCA.

City of St. Cloud Residents::

No locations at this time. (See county sites above).

Residents and visitors should continue to monitor local news for further instructions, ensure disaster supply kits are fully stocked and plans are in place to remain safe.
