Embracing Black History in Osceola County - Black History Month 2023

Osceola County, FL - February 1, 2023 - To honor Black History Month in Osceola County, with the help of Jennifer Paul, the following video was produced featuring five African American residents of Osceola County who either lived through and/or have made an impact on the Black History of Osceola County. Ms. Paul takes us on a brief journey to share just enough to perhaps peak your interest in finding out more about these Black Americans and many others who live and have played a part in Osceola County history. The goal is to discover why it is important to embrace our history, and to understand it in order to move on and make our own histories by making memories with the people and activities that make a difference in our lives today.
